This 2 hour workshop includes materials and light refreshments. Session begins with an introduction to gathering protocol and the plants being used. Each participant can select from the available materials to create their own unique wreath. Wreaths are created on 8in bases and usually are 10-12 inches in diameter when completed. Participants are encouraged to bring some plants from their own ʻāina to personalize their wreath.
Kawai is a 16-year-old high school student with a natural talent for working with plants. She started making wreaths at just eight years old, and by the age of 10, she was already selling her creations. Now, at 16, she crafts beautiful wreaths during the holidays and will be teaching her wreath-making skills in workshops this holiday season.
Limited seating, please register in advance.
All sales are final. If you cannot make the workshop after your purchase please gift your ticket to someone else, as a refund will not be issued.
